I’m Alex Cumming—racing driver, instructor, builder, and founder of Courage Motorsport. Courage Motorsport was built from a simple goal: make motorsport more accessible, more professional, and more fun for anyone passionate enough to dive in. Based near Washington D.C., we offer rental race cars, professional coaching, track support, and custom parts and builds for drivers at every level—from brand-new students to seasoned club racers. As a driver, I’ve competed in everything from endurance races to regional SCCA sprints, and I also serve as a class rep and rule developer for the ST7 category. On the coaching side, I work with clients both on and off the track—teaching technique, helping with racecraft, and guiding young drivers and small teams through the business side of motorsport. Courage Motorsport also supplies parts and safety equipment through our growing reseller network, and we proudly support new drivers with mentorship, instruction, and the tools they need to succeed. Every race we run, every car we build, and every driver we coach is part of a bigger mission: grow the sport, give back to the paddock, and prove that you don’t need a massive budget to make a massive impact.
