Hey, everyone. My name is Grant Brown; I'm a seventeen year old aspiring racing driver based out of Portland, Oregon. I'm boosting to get a start on my career and get out of rental karts, or at least develop the proper revenue to join a competitive karting series of some sort.
If you want to get to know me: I am a published author, co-owner of a clothing brand called Barrett & Brown Co., and a U.S. Marine Corps poolee. I am gunning to deploy in Autumn/Winter of this year, and intend to work my deployment times so that in 2025/2026, I can use my saved up days of leave to attend my own race weekends, then go back out into the field until the next. All of these separate endeavours are simply a means to an end, however, as my ultimate goal is to one day race on the European continent, preferably in open-wheel racing. I come from an impoverished single-parent household, but have not allowed that to stop me from chasing my dreams, even though my progress over the past 7-8 years has been minimal compared to those with bigger wallets. I only ever get to race an average of one to two times a year, but I spend extremely large amounts of time on simulators, and make a positive showing every time I have an opportunity out on real tracks. I need an outside boost in order to start my career, and I hope that someone can see the amount of effort I have put in to making my dreams come true on my own terms, given my extreme limitations, and help to make that difference. Thanks for reading. Wishing you all the best on the journey to success.

CAPTIONS:
Image #1: One of the designs that I made for myself. It is available as a framed poster direct from my company, which I co-own alongside my best friend. He heads the financial operation of the brand, and I handle the majority of everything else.
Image #2: Me driving at Pat's Acres Racing Complex for the first time this past Tuesday. (April 2nd, 2024) I placed first and second in my first two races. In my second race, I was coping with a tire issue, but nevertheless stayed in tow of my leading opponent. The rest, we were both well clear of.
Image #3: A picture of one of our manufacturer's (Printful) models showing off one of my jerseys. B&B is my current method of selling my own merchandise.
Image #4: Alternate angle of the same piece of clothing: my personal brand is based on the colour green, and I love everything space related, so it's only natural that Aliens are my big thing.
Image #5: The cover of the book that I have self-published. It is available on Amazon.
Image #6: My proper jersey, available through B&B. All of the sponsor logos are subordinate taglines or collections from Barrett & Brown Co. Great way to make yourself look like you're more well-off than you really are hahaha...
