Rotax World Finals In Bahrain

Hello, This is my last attempt at a World Championship in the Mini Category. Here is my story. My first World Championship was in Bahrain in 2021 for the Rotax Grand Finals. I was excited for my first shot at the best in the world. I was top 5 pace all week and made a stupid mistake in Qualifying which put me farther back than I was antipating. I moved my way up in the heats and got to start 12th for the final against the best in the world. I made it up to around 7th half way through the first lap and then a kid tapped me and made me go off line and then all of a sudden I see a kart on top of my head and upside down. The incident sent me to the back of the pack and I kept my head up and went from 36th to 18th in a short race. I kept my head held high and wanted to come back and get redemption the next year. In 2022 I had won myself another ticket to go back to the World Championships once again. The Rotax Grand Finals is the olympics of karting and very unique event because they provide you with the kart and engine for that weekend so it all comes down to the driver. This is why we race this series, we simply can't get out spent here! The Rotax Grand Finals was in Portugal this year and a new track for me. I was even more excited than last year because I new I could win. From the first session on track we knew something was not right. I was getting gapped down the straights so much I couldn't keep up. I had Qualifying a horrible 45th. I knew I had a to work through my engine being 5 mph down and move my up the best I can. I worked my way up through the heats and started around 9th and I was shooting for a top 5. Going down to the second corner a kart ahead of me got tagged and spun out right in front of me and I was forced to go in the grass and go to the back of the pack. I was really mad because the same thing happened the year before. Thankfully there was a red flag and there was a full restart. I started back in my same postition and had another shot at it. This time I made my way up to 5th on the first lap and just getting freetrained down the straights. I had to be perfect in the infield to have any shot at a top ten. I was barely able to stick with the lead pack and finished 7th. We left the event disapponted again becuase I knew if I didn't have the terrible motor, I could have won. This year I was as hungry as ever. I had won myself a ticket to go back for the 3rd time after I drove from last to first to win another ticket to go back to Bahrain to win once and for all. This year is going to be very special for me because my mentor Race Liberante is going with me for his shot at the World Championship. My Mechanic Devon Smith-Harden has won me all of my tickets to the World Championship and has never been able to go with me and I feel like he is the missing piece. So that is why I am trying to bring him as this is my last shot at a Mini World Championship. Thank You
