I'm raising money to purchase tires for my car. I moved from the Kids Division to Street Stock. In the Kids Division, I had to run street tires and stock rims. Now I have to run race rims and purchase tires at the track. I only have one set of tires and really need at least another complete set to be competitive.
My dad bought me my first go-kart when I was four years old and mom was out of town. I started practicing right away at Rocky Ridge Raceway and by the middle of the summer, I was competing even though I was only 4 years old. I’ve now been racing for 8 seasons, more than half of my life. I have won go-karting championships. I raced for 2 seasons in the kids division at White Mountain Motorsports Park, NH. My last year is the kids division I had an 87% rate of podium finishes. I began the 2024 season in the kids division but after one race moved to racing in the Street Stock division.
My current racing goal is become the youngest driver to win a Street Stock Championship at Thunder Road in Barre, VT. I’ll need to do this before I turn 14 to break the record. After racing ovals at local tracks, I hope to move on to racing at bigger tracks throughout the northeast. I’d also like to start in one of the race car driver training programs available.
To me, racing is also about helping others. In 2020, I started working with Podium with Purpose program. This is a program that challenges participating drivers to donate money from their race winnings to a charitable program. I do not receive prize money for racing, so I donate my own money and challenge my sponsors to match my donation. I have been donating to the VT National Guard Charitable Foundation for four years. So far, I've raised over $3,000 for the VT National Guard Charitable Foundation!
