Atigun Mackey's 2024 racing season at Alaska Raceway Park

My name is Atigun Mackey. I am 7 years old. I am the son of the famous dog musher, Lance Mackey. My dad raced Legend Cars when he wasn't dog mushing. My sister and I grew up in the pits at North Pole Speedway, Alaska Raceway Park and various other race tracks across the country. Both my parents have passed. It was my dad's wish to see me race. I competed in my first race 3 days after I turned 7 driving a Bandolero at Alaska Raceway Park. Sadly my dad wasn't around to see it. But thanks to my dad's wishes his family and friends helped make it happen. I love you mom and dad. I hope to make you proud of me in every way.
