About racer
Derek started racing at the age of 10 at Badger Kart Club. 4 Track Championships and 3 Summer Series Championships, Derek moved onto Speed Skating while going to college. After college Derek bought a 604 sprint car and raced it in the Wisconsin Wingless Sprint Series. After 5 years of competing in Wisconsin, Crane Racing decided to buy a 410 engine and race down in Indiana with the big boys. Derek is competing in the local series with a few USAC appearances. Our end goal is to become a household name in USAC.
