"A dream left behind"

Hello guys. First of all im not telling this story to milk any emotions for attention, but i would like to tell you a little bit about my life and my dream that i left behind. My name is Asrın, I was born in a small island country and i still live there. Its called Cyprus if you know it. I was born in 2004 and im 20 years old now, I always had a passion for racing because of my father. He was a rally driver back in the day and he really put all his efforts in to this sport. Rallying became a huge thing in this small country we live in because of him. He had 6 championships to his name and he got really big in this sport. Sadly he passed away in 2013 with my mother, leaving us 3 brothers with this passion and a name he created with this sport. We grew up stronger and stronger every day without him but we always tried to keep his name on the books. I've been working with racecars since 9 year's old to learn everything i know now, my brothers always tried something to get back into racing. We did service jobs we did co-piloting. In 2024 life gave my big brother one more chance to keep my father proud. We finally managed to buy an Evo 9 group N rally car. Like my father drove on his last year of racing. My big brother is now working and trying to keep up his family and race at the same time. When we have the money to race we put all our efforts into it and get some good results, We won the 2024 sprint championship last year. But here comes my part. I have an R33 Skyline Gtt that my father left before passing away. It's the only thing i have left from him I've been trying to build it for almost 6 years but with our currency being TL and me being too young i never had the chance to accomplish my dream and Race it once and maybe make my father proud. My brothers have their family so they can't afford to help me with my dream, i tried everything i could do and finally got it working again. My dream is to make it a proper drift car but if i accomplish making it run enough just for a race i will be more than happy. The problem is it needs some work and im doing my army service right now so there is nothing in my hands to do it. Maybe i will make it happen after my army service if i can afford it with our exchange rates.
