I am a 13 year old kart racer racing in the KA 100 Junior class and I'm racing in the STARS series in 2024, with races in North Carolina, Indiana and Ohio. Each weekend of racing averages around $5k, with tires, parts, race fees and travel costs.

A set of race tires for each race is $250. Some races I am required to buy their tires - others I can use tires from race to race to save costs, as long as they are safe and usable.
