Uthman Alaoui currently competes in Spec Miata, in the NASA Racing SoCal Region. 2022 is Uthman's first year racing cars, after competing in Karts for a year.
Despite his relatively late start, Uthman has received high praise and guidance from multiple people within the industry for both his on-track talent, but also off-track understanding of business and sponsorship skills.
Away from the track, Uthman continues to pursue an education as a student at the University of California, Riverside. He currently serves as a Dean's Brand Ambassador within the School of Public Policy.
Uthman currently leads the NASA SoCal Spec Miata standings as a rookie, with five wins (in a row), nine podiums, and three poles. Uthman was also recently nominated for the Mazda MX-5 Cup National Shootout!
